Job/Person Summary

Do you enjoy challenging children to achieve beyond what they think they are capable of?

Do you enjoy working as part of a team to ensure that all children achieve well?

Are you able to encourage and nurture children even when they are struggling to manage their emotions?

Are you willing to learn and develop as a member of our school team?

We require a teaching assistant to work alongside a range of children in the classroom and be part of our lunchtime team.  This is a new role within the school.

Our school is situated minutes away from the local beach and has large grounds. We are a hardworking team who want the best for all of our children.

The successful candidate must:

  • Have GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Be able to use their initiative
  • Be able to work as a member of a team
  • Be able to motivate and engage children
  • Have patience, empathy and good communication skills
  • Have an understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding
  • Be confident with using IT

Most of all you must be passionate about wanting the best for children.

Please note that this position is Fixed Term until 31st August 2020. However this will be reviewed during the Summer term, pending future staffing requirements.
