Lyndsay McLeesChair of Governors
Hello, I am Lyndsay McLees, I am a co-opted school governor and currently Chair of Governors. I have been a governor since 2014 and I am also a governor in another local school. I became a governor to ensure the well- being of children, promote the highest standards and develop and improve the effectiveness of our Governing Body.
I feel very strongly that all children have a right to a well rounded education where they can learn in a safe and fun environment. As a governor, I feel I can strategically help our school provides our children with the best opportunities in their early stages of learning, citizenship and social development to ensure that they reach their full potential as adults.

Rev. Dr. Paul Chamberlain
I'm Paul Chamberlain, the local vicar. I'm an Associate Governor at the Junior School, and the Vice-Chair of Governors at the Infant School. I'm on both governing bodies as part of a plan to help the schools work more closely together, part of which has a governor from each school being an Associate Governor at the other. I've been a school governor in Lee for over four years, and I'm a parent at the Junior School as well. I'm a governor because I want the children of our town to have the best education they can, and governors play an important role in helping our schools make this happen.

Marilyn MullenCurriculum Governor for English and Maths
My name is Marilyn Mullen and I am a co-opted Governor. I am a grandparent to two boys currently at the school.
I enjoyed a career in primary education and since retirement I have continued to work on a voluntary basis in various aspects of education in Hampshire. I became a governor at Lee Junior School to enable me to work with the staff and other governors on the school?s journey to becoming a ?good? school.
My main interest is in the curriculum. Although English and maths. are of vital importance to all pupils, they also need a wide curriculum that offers them a broad base of skills and knowledge as they grow up in an ever changing world.
Hello, my name is Rob Punter I am? one of the brand new parent governors I wanted to become a governor mainly for the school?s benefit but to also promote a safe and friendly environment for learning. I have a military background of 20 years with my last 7 of those teaching. I am now a training delivery instructor for Babcock; and whilst still delivering high end training to our military personnel, I also like to make use of my spare time. I feel that is time well spent being a School Governor. Education is the forefront of any child?s life and if I can make that better, then I will do all I can to help make that happen.

Nancy TrevethanParent Governor - SEND/Service Premium
?My name is Nancy Trevathan and I am delighted to join the team as? a Parent Governor. I am a proud mum of three children and my eldest attends the school. I volunteered for the role as I strongly believe that children should be given the best possible opportunities to achieve their full potential and education is a key part of this. I will work to support both staff and parents of our community to maximise the potential and raise standards for all children. Together we will work hard to improve outcomes for all of our children regardless of background, ability or challenges faced. As a serving member of the Royal Navy, I take a keen interest in Service Children within the school community.
